Look out, Hollywood. After roasting Tom Brady, Nikki Glaser is coming for you next.
The comedian, 40, will host January's Golden Globe Awards honoring the year's best in film and television.
In a statement, Glaser described the Golden Globes as "one of my favorite nights of television," saying it's "one of the few times that show business not only allows, but encourages itself to be lovingly mocked (at least I hope so). (God I hope so)."
The comic continued that some of her "favorite jokes of all time" have come from Golden Globes monologues that said "exactly what we all didn't know we desperately needed to hear" from previous hosts like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Ricky Gervais.
"I just hope to continue in that time honored tradition (that might also get me canceled)," she quipped.

Glaser is known for her participation in numerous Comedy Central roasts, having skewered stars like Alec Baldwin and Rob Lowe. She most recently roasted Tom Brady during a Netflix special earlier this year and received universal acclaim for her set, during which she brutally mocked the NFL legend for his divorce from Gisele Bündchen. "You have seven rings," she said at one point. "Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back."

Glaser will be taking over Golden Globes hosting duties from comedian Jo Koy, who emceed the most recent ceremony in January. Koy's monologue was widely panned by critics, and many of his jokes fell flat in the room, including a controversial quip that put down the movie "Barbie" as being about a "plastic doll with big boobies." While on stage, Koy remarked that he had only been hired for the gig 10 days earlier.
Jo Koy'sGolden Globes opening monologue met with blank stares: 'I got the gig 10 days ago!'
The year prior, the Globes were hosted by comedian Jerrod Carmichael. In a low-key monologue, he skewered the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the group behind the ceremony, over a scandal involving its lack of diversity. The HFPA has since disbanded.
The 2025 Golden Globe Awards are set to air Sunday, Jan. 5 on CBS and Paramount+. The nominations will be announced Dec. 9.
