Joe Jonas was anything but down in the dumps when he turned 35.
But the same couldn't be said about his birthday festivities—one of which was hilariously themed after poop—as the Jonas Brothers singer rang in his milestone with family, friends and fans alike.
Joe's weeklong celebration began on Aug. 15, when his brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas surprised him with a three-tiered cake during their concert at the Illinois State Fair. In fact, Joe got into the spirit of things by donning a denim cowboy hat bearing his new age.
"It's all about me, guys," he quipped onstage in a video circulating on social media. "It's all about me today."
Next, the Camp Rock alum was feted by pals Matthew Hechter and Chris Brandon at a weekend beach getaway. As seen in photos shared on Instagram Story, Joe's home-away-from-home was decorated with a cheeky banner reading, "Holy s--t, I'm 35!"
In fact, the theme even extended down to the bathroom decorations. To highlight just how his friends thought of ever last detail, Joe shared a photo on Aug. 18 of a roll of toilet paper printed with a poop emoji and the words, "You're 35."
He added in a separate post, "One unforgettable weekend."
This was Joe's first birthday since his breakup with estranged wife Sophie Turner, with whom he shares daughters Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2. In court documents previously obtained by E! News, Sophie said she and Joe "had an argument" on his 34th birthday last year—just weeks before he filed for divorce to end their four-year marriage.
And though the former couple's divorce proceedings started off on a rocky note, they've since found a steadier dynamic as they co-parent their kids.
"I'm confident that we can figure it out," Sophie shared in a May interview with British Vogue. "Joe is a great father to our children and that's all that I can ask for."
The Game of Thrones actress—who is now dating British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson—added, "I don’t care about the politics, I just want the girls to feel loved and have everyone show up for them."
